Tibor de Nagy

Founded in 1950, the Tibor de Nagy Gallery was due for an identity refresh to go along with its move from Fifth Avenue to the Lower East Side. We created a contemporary logo with a punchy color palette to reflect the gallery’s hip new neighborhood and a desire to reach out to younger artists and collectors.

I also had the opportunity to create art catalogs for various artists at the gallery, including Ann Toebbe, Sarah McEneany, and Medrie MacPhee.

Ann Toebbe is a contemporary fine artist based in Chicago, Illinois. The catalog for her exhibition Friends and Rentals features Toebbe’s signature house portraits inspired by house-sitting for friends or staying in Airbnb’s.

Sarah McEneaney is a fine artist and community activist based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I designed a catalog for her solo exhibition at Tibor de Nagy. Her work is characterized by its autobiographical nature, whimsy, and bright colors.

Medrie MacPhee is a Canadian-American artist based in New York City. The catalog for her solo exhibition Words Fail Me includes 13 paintings, as well as texts by Amy Sillman and Nicole Eisenman.
