Lauren Ruth Ward is a psychedelic rock legend in Los Angeles. She asked me to help her design the vinyl artwork for her sophomore album, VOL. II. The vibrant front and back cover photos were shot by Michelle Shiers and feature Lauren and her dog Orson surrounded by gifts from her fans around the world. Lauren shot the inside photo in my living room. It features a typed interview surrounded by tchotchkes and memorabilia from Lauren’s life. For the back cover and credits, we used a typewriter to continue the analog theme.
